When you get in touch
When you email or call, Athorn processes the contact details and information you choose to provide. The information is used to understand and respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, discuss an engagement. Processing is based on Athorn's legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and communicating with company representatives. Please do not include sensitive or confidential information in your first message.
What is stored and for how long
Email messages are handled through Athorn’s email service. The website has no contact form or database of contact enquiries. Correspondence needs to be retained while the enquiry and any continuing business discussions are handled. Further retention is assessed against the need for ongoing contact, a potential engagement, legal obligations and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Hosting, recipients and security
Hostinger provides web hosting and email. Information is available to Simon and the service providers needed to deliver messages and operate the website. The website does not send contact information to an AI service or provide a marketing mailing function.
Server and security functions process technical information, such as IP address and time, to serve pages and prevent abuse.
Hostinger's terms describe subprocessors and safeguards for international transfers, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. See Hostinger's Data Processing Addendum for more information.
Cookies and visitor analytics
The website's own code does not use analytics tools, advertising, tracking cookies or local storage. Your choice of language is determined by the page address. Images and other website files are served from the same website.
Your rights
You can request access to and correction of your personal information and, where the conditions are met, erasure, restriction or data portability. You can object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Contact simon@athorn.se to make a request.
You have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY. The website's contact process does not make automated decisions about you.
